E-mail Messenger
Forwards e-mail to any wireless device. It is compatible with Lotus Notes Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Novell Groupwise Server, UNIX Sendmail, or an Internet mail package. E-mail Messenger allows companies to use their current e-mail client to send messages to wireless devices. It is easy as setting up a new domain, mobile.domain.com, running E-mail Messenger on this domain, and forwarding e-mail from any SMTP-compatible client. E-mail Messenger also allows two-way devices to directly respond back to WirelessOffice messages and alerts.
Features
Highly Compatible – E-mail Messenger integrates seamlessly with any SMTP compliant e-mail system including Microsoft Exchange Server, Lotus Notes Server, Novell GroupWise Server, Sun Internet Mail Server and any other SMTP based e-mail application.
Improved E-mail Effectiveness – E-mail rules engines are applied to forward e-mail based on key word(s), sender or priority level.
Increased Forwarding Reliability – This software provides e-mail fail over so that any unknown forwarded addresses are sent to a backup domain and the sender is aware that the message was not delivered to the intended receiver. Forwarded messages, including those with attachments are also preserved in the user’s e-mail box.
Distribution Flexibility – E-mail messenger allows e-mails to be transmitted to individuals, groups and departments.
Access Security – E-mail Messenger applies established server authentication and security profiling rules to preclude forbidden access.
Special Filtering Capabilities – E-mail Messenger adds the ability to filter by domain.
Receive the Entire Message – E-mail Messenger gives users the ability to parse the message by subject or body so that parts of long messages are not lost because of carrier message limits.
Attachment Special Handling – Messages with attachments are forwarded without the attachment to meet service provider or corporate infrastructure requirements. The message will notify the user of the attachment.
