WirelessOffice Server |
| |
(formerly AirApparent Server by Motorola) is
the most comprehensive and cost effective messaging software in
the industry. Both the incremental user license and scalability of the
software make it fit for an enterprise of any size. WirelessOffice
seamlessly integrates with current systems and equipment to
support messaging to mobile devices via service providers and/or on-
site communications systems. The suite’s file monitoring and
command-line utility components integrate with third-party software
packages. Features include message escalation, user authentication
and acknowledged response for remote reply capabilities. |

Alarm Messenger |
| |
(formerly SiteAlert / SitePage) is a state-of-the-art automated
messaging notification system. The application interprets RS-232 ASCII data input for out-
of-tolerance conditions, and forwards detailed messages to specified users, groups or
departments via mobile devices. Features include user authentication – to maintain
security, message escalation – which provides five levels of message escalation, and
acknowledged response – to ensure that critical information is acknowledged. |

File Messenger |
| |
(formerly File Daemon by Motorola, included with WirelessOffice Suite)

E-mail Messenger |
| |
allows employees to receive and respond to important information
quickly. E-mail Messenger converts e-mail messages from all SMTP-compliant software
applications (including Lotus Notes Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Novell Groupwise
Server, UNIX Sendmail and others) into mobile device-ready messages that are dispatched
through the WirelessOffice Server. With two-way acknowledged response, messages can
be sent and received via e-mail to and from two-way mobile devices. The escalation
feature allows escalated message cancellation or advancement. |

Web Messenger |
| |
provides an intuitive and secure Internet messaging solution for your
entire organization. Web Messenger is available in two options – Standard, a customizable
HTML web page or Plus, a Java applet. Web Messenger is linked to the WirelessOffice
Server, negating the need for new software installation on each workstation. With Web
Messenger-Plus, user authentication ensures secure access to the dynamic global address
book. The escalation feature allows users to cancel or advance escalated messages. Web
Messenger-Standard provides a static list of users, groups, departments and carriers for
web messaging access. |

SpectraLink Wireless Phones |
| |
- Link WTS System |
| |
The Link WTS is a dedicated voice system, providing the highest
level of reliability with minimal administration and maintenance. More enterprises in
the U.S. have chosen the Link WTS than any other wireless system available.
The Link Wireless Telephone System consists of three components: the master
control Unit (MCU), Base Stations, and Wireless Telephone. The Master Control Unit is
connected to analog or digital station ports on the facility telephone switch. When a
call destined for a Wireless Telephone is received, the MCU sends the incoming call
out to the Wireless Telephone through SpectraLink's overlapping network of Base
Stations strategically located throughout the facility. The Base Station receiving the
call provides the wireless radio connection to the appropriate Wireless Telephone.
|
| |
- NetLink System |
| |
The NetLink system consists of up to three of the following
components: NetLink Telephony Gateway, NetLink SVP Server, and NetLink Wireless
Telephone. A NetLink Telephony Gateway is required only for connections to a legacy
PBX. Interfaces to current and future IP PBXs do not require a gateway.
The NetLink Telephony Gateway is connected to analog or digital station ports within
the facility's telephone switch. When a call destined for a NetLink Wireless Telephone
is received, the NetLink Telephony Gateway converts the PBX call to Internet Protocol
(IP) packets and sends them out over the customer's 802.11b wireless LAN. The
NetLink Wireless Telephone then receives the voice packets and assembles the
conversation while maintaining excellent voice quality. Voice quality is the main
function of the NetLink SVP Server. SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) ensures that voice
packets have priority over data packets on the wireless network. |
