Y2K Readiness for Motorola's Air Apparent NT Client and Servers software, now known as Wireless Office INTERNET AND NETWORKING GROUP Dear Customer, In response to your inquiry concerning Year 2000 Readiness of Motorola's Air Apparent NT Client and Servers (including Site Alert for NT), Motorola Air Apparent Products have been tested and found ready against the following Year 2000 Readiness criteria: Year 2000 Ready means the capability of Motorola Air Apparent Server and Clients, when used in accordance with its associated documentation, to correctly process, provide and/or receive date data in and between the years 1999 and 2000, including leap year calculations, provided that all other products and systems (for example, hardware, software, and firmware) used with the Air Apparent Server and Clients, properly exchange accurate date data with it. This definition only applies to those Motorola Air Apparent Server and Client Products which exchange date data and which are identified as Year 2000 Ready. This definition is not a statement of warranty and may not be interpreted to expand any warranty provided with Pager Products supplied by Motorola. Please note that certain earlier versions of Motorola Air Apparent Server and Client Products shall require upgrades to be Year 2000 Ready. Our tests can not address the Software Product's performance in conjunction with system components and device performance. Year 2000 Readiness of the paging system and device components, including any additional software applications built on top of the original software, is an essential factor in the Software Product's performance, and should be evaluated relative to Year 2000 Readiness.
